What is the village like? 1

It is a small village. 800 people live there. It’s an old village near several roads. People found there Roman coins and jewellery. Hauses are made of timber, brick.

Jest: hala, kościół, kaplica, karczma, poczta, garaż, szkoła podstawowa. Nie ma: rzeźnika, piekarza, gimnazjum.

There is: a hall, a church, a chapel, an inn, a post office, a garage, a primary school. There isn’t: a butcher’s, a baker’s, a secondary school.

What do people do there?

People are: farmers grow crops wheat, graze cattle and travel to London to work.
